These are services designed to help our clients understand and effectively manage their health & safety obligations throughout the project life-cycle.

Doyle Hamilton Associates is able to offer principal designer (H&S) services, along with client assist services, to help manage the health and safety of projects under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

We treat the challenges of each project as unique, and protect our clients’ obligations by incorporating health and safety early in the design, building competent teams, managing risks and establishing robust site processes.

Our principal designer / client assist services include:

  • Early identification of inherent project risks
  • Coordinate with the design team on principles of prevention
  • Ongoing input in H&S issues as the design progresses
  • Undertake contractor competency assessments
  • Collate all pre-construction information plan (PCIP) information
  • Review of the contractor’s construction phase plan
  • Issuing of F10 / statutory notices
  • Site visits to assess and monitor health and safety
  • Collation of the health and safety file

Ronan Doyle MRICS

In a career spanning over 35 years, Ronan has wide ranging experience delivering services within multiple construction industry sectors.

With the majority of his career spent holding senior management and director-level positions, Ronan has a proven history of working closely with property teams, company boards and external stakeholders.

Ronan leads the delivery of our cost management services, taking an active part at both project and strategic levels, including procurement & tendering, central cost monitoring and assisting our valued clients in establishing robust project delivery processes.

Gary Hamilton MRICS

Joint Managing Director

In a career spanning over 30 years, Gary has extensive experience delivering project and strategic services within multiple construction industry sectors.

Gary started his career with a leading international construction consultancy, followed by various senior management and director -evel positions. He works closely alongside key stakeholders to provide professional advice and drive project success.

Gary leads the delivery of our project management services, providing the full spectrum of services during pre- and post-contract stages, together with specialising in the delivery of our strategic value engineering, risk management and project delivery process services.

With over two decades of experience in delivering cost management services, Matt has been a driving force at the practice since 2004. His expertise spans a wide range of projects, including new builds, refits, and high-profile locations like airports and stations across the UK.

As Associate Director, Matt leads a team of skilled quantity surveyors. He’s passionate about delivering exceptional cost management solutions and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Committed to nurturing young talent, Matt heads up Doyle Hamilton’s apprenticeship programme. He provides invaluable guidance and support to aspiring surveyors, empowering them to achieve their career goals.

Ellie Baldwin MRICS

Associate Director

Commencing her career in 2016, Ellie has progressed through the practice to her current position. Her experience involves the development of projects from inception through to completion, with particular experience in high-volume rollout projects, requiring effective and efficient cost management skills.

As Associate Director, Ellie is passionate about building strong client relationships and working closely with client stakeholders and project team members to deliver innovative cost management solutions. She is dedicated to understanding our clients’ unique business objectives and providing tailored strategies to optimise their projects.

Ellie is enthusiastic about upholding the highest standards for both Doyle Hamilton’s clients and in-house team. As such, Ellie is responsible for managing Doyle Hamilton’s ISO Certifications, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance across the practice.
